Monthly Newsletter

Most every month the troop Committee publishes a newsletter. It is full of announcements, upcoming events, and other important information.

Congratulations to Patrick Crutchfield for becoming our troops 50th Eagle Scout! Well done!

Advancement Deadlines
The deadline for advancements for February Court of Honor is January 25th.

Court of Honor
The next Court of Honor will be held at the scout hut on February 8th, the anniversary of scouting. It will be a spaghetti dinner with the adult leaders furnishing the spaghetti and sauce.

New Librarian
Tommy Holden is the new Librarian for the troop.

Scout Hut Workday
Mark your calendar now for the May 5th troop hut workday. All hands needed to do maintenance and cleaning to our meeting place.

Upcoming Trips
The troop is planning a Deep Sea Fishing trip in May. This requires a large number of participants to be cost effective. We are reserving a boat for a ½ day trip. Watch for details and deposits.

The Wilderness Survival campout will be at Jack Wolf’s farm in January.

Summer camp will be Camp Bodie this year. Other trips include Deep Sea Fishing, Backpacking and Yosemite!

Are Your Dues Paid?

They were due in September. Please bring your check this week and give it to Tommy George for re-registration. Youth dues are $50 and adult leader dues are $25.
